LO1: Examples of audio visual products
Below are examples of different audio visual products. This fulfils LO1
ADVERT. Billy Mays - Quick Chop (2009). YouTube. Accessed: 24/10/14
This is promoting a product, the Quick Chop, as this includes a price, how to obtain the product, and it tells the audience how it works and what it does.
VLOG. How To Start A Clothing Line (2013). YouTube. Accessed: 24/10/14
This is a vlog as it is centred on a singular person (who is the uploader), and it is telling things about herself to an audience.
SHORT FILM. Hello? - Sad Short Film (2014). YouTube. Accessed: 24/10/14
This is a short film as it tells a whole story in film format (including camera techniques, and the narrative etc), and does not advertise anything but rather it is the whole product.
DOCUMENTARY. Psychopath BBC documentary Full Documentary (2014). YouTube. Accessed: 27/02/15
This is a documentary as it is focused on a specific topic/person, factual information with no non-fiction narrative of some sorts.

Self Reflection LO1
Compared to Brownsauce:
-I need to be a lot more clear on the purpose of my film trailers
- I need to mention how all audio visual products are encoded to have a set purpose (Stuart Hall 1980) to the audience.
- I need to slightly mention key features which put it into the genre but not to go over-the-top on explanation like I have done right now.
This fulfils LO1
